My Vision of Therapy

Rebuilding connections with those we love allows us to gain emotional stability which enhances our mental health and well-being.

As a therapist, I value the importance of hearing your personal story and the different chapters that have brought you to seek help. While assessing your needs and your goals, I hold myself accountable to provide you with a clinical assessment that identifies the form of therapy that would be best suited for your healing process.

 My priority is to provide a safe and trusting environment to help you overcome long-lasting problems that may include; challenges with communication, intimacy/sexuality, and addiction/mental health.

 

I work with an integration of evidence-based therapies and facilitate interventions that foster conflict resolution, enhance resilience and promote the re-establishment of healthy patterns.

My framework is based on the science of attachment theory and developmental psychology. By providing structure, I work collaboratively with couples and individuals to create a treatment plan that meets their needs and specific goals.

Counselling and psychotherapy for couples, offer a safe and confidential space that fosters healing by accessing underlying elements partners are unable to reach on their own.

 

Through this process, partners can learn to tune into one another by recognizing core needs and feelings that lead to reconciliation, repair and change the conflicting dynamic.
