Maria Maalouf
Counselling Intern

I’m interested in you, not just who you are today, but the layers that brought you here: your patterns, your pain, your resilience, and the relationships that shaped you. Together, we explore the unspoken stories beneath the surface and create space for healing, clarity, and self-reflection. As we move through this process, we’ll focus on understanding rather than judgment, allowing space for new insight to emerge.
As a Counselling Intern, I am learning clinical theories that integrate a blend of psychodynamic insight, humanistic presence, and relational depth. I believe psychotherapy is a collaborative and evolving process that invites you to slow down, tune in, and make meaning of your inner world.

counselling intern
Our counselling interns work directly under the supervision of Sabrina Lacasse, where every file is discussed through a psychodynamic and humanistic-experiential lens. All counselling interns develop and learn within a nurturing environment that provides structured and formative guidance. This enriches the therapeutic work while meeting the rigorous standards of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. Sessions led by interns are offered at a reduced fee, making in-depth care more accessible.
